K-Lite

A portable dental device designed for minimal invasive dentistry that helps identify and safely remove excess or unwanted dental materials such as composites, adhesives, orthodontic brackets, attachments, retainers, and residual cements. Features dual UV and Daylight LEDs - a White LED (6000°K) for translumination to visualize opalescence, crack lines and fractures, and a UV-A LED (violet light 395-400nm) that makes fluorescent dental materials, calculus, and plaque easier to detect. Can assist in identification of certain bacterial byproducts and is used in dental trauma splinting and Fluorescence-assisted Identification Technique (FIT). Easy and fast to use, portable with no cable required, and lightweight.
