Benex-Control (root extraction), CBE00
Hager & Meisinger · #79CBE00
For optimal implant treatment, a minimally invasive preparation of the implant site is essential. This begins with the atraumatic extraction of teeth that are conventionally deemed non-restorable.
Tooth extraction is one of the most common dental surgical procedures, typically involving forceps and levers. Developed in collaboration with Dr Benno Syfrig, the Benex®-Control offers a minimally invasive alternative. Thanks to the sophisticated design of the extraction system, tooth roots and root fragments can be removed using the principle of a pulley, without damaging the bone or surrounding soft tissue. This is because, unlike the use of forceps and levers, no pressure is exerted on the lateral bone walls. The atraumatic vertical extraction is especially patient-friendly and provides excellent conditions for subsequent implant placement.
For optimal vertical force transmission, the Benex®-Control also includes a quadrant support. This ensures that the extractor rests flat and the tooth root can be removed straight. It also protects the remaining dentition and, particularly in edentulous cases, provides a stable support for the extractor.
